After a long day, Beatrice likes to come home, draw a bubble bath and unwind with a delicious glass of red! Beatrice is soaking in a dollhouse miniature white porcelain tub, and I made the “bubbles” from tiny clear glass seed beads and Triple Thick glaze. Her red wine is made from actual glass, into which I poured red-tinted resin. The tray is handmade from coffee stirrers, and the little candle is polymer clay. I also made the shower puff (pink tulle and embroidery thread) and the shower cap! Beatrice will be coming to Etsy soon… in the meantime, what’s your favorite way to relax and unwind?
This is Gertie and her vegetable garden! This is my biggest and most detailed Fuzzy project to date. I decided to try my hand at creating little scenes for my mice, and what better base for a “Gourmet Fuzzy” than a kitchen cutting board? Gertie has her own little gardening apron and a straw hat resting on her back.
Gertie’s little patch of veggies includes hand-sculpted polymer clay carrots, cauliflower and cabbage I made myself, along with some essential gardening tools, like a trowel, wheelbarrow and watering can (dollhouse miniatures I purchased). I also designed my own little seed packets. Plus, there’s a little bunny waiting to nibble on the veggies!
Gertie’s garden will be available on Etsy soon!
This is Nori! He’s a sushi chef, and he’s prepared a platter of yummy sushi! I handmade every piece from polymer clay. He’s now listed on Etsy!
I’ve been dying to share these Santas ever since I first started them back in September, and now that they’ve gone to their recipients, I finally can! I had so much fun creating them – each has his own distinct personality. Perhaps I’ll get to working on lady friends for them for next year!
First up is this all-white Father Christmas! He definitely has an Old World vintage vibe, with his boxwood-wreathed head and burlap sack.
This more traditional Santa Claus is dressed in red and has a tray of cookies! I handmade all of the cookies from polymer clay.
Lastly, this is a wine-loving Santa! He is dressed in a forest green hooded coat and is carrying a basket of wine, brie, grapes and a baguette (all handmade polymer clay) along with a wine-themed boxwood wreath!
All of these Santas were inspired by Sarafina Fiber Art’s AMAZING tutorials!
