**About This Item**
The distressed black cabinet has subtle silver painted accents. The doors feature pink sugar skull paper cut-outs on an orange paper background, with plastic in the front to give the illusion of glass. Inside the cabinet, the shelves are painted black and lined with cotton lace trim, and the back of the shelves are decorated in festive pink and orange.

The top shelf of the altar has a ceramic jug filled with dried orange and yellow flowers to represent “Cempasuchitl” – the flowers of the dead.

There’s also a Pan de Muerto, a traditional sweet bread decorated with “bones.” Next to the loaf of bread, there’s a framed photograph of a young Frida Kahlo. There’s also a Virgen de Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadalupe) candle in a jar.

The second shelf has a melted wax candle and a pomegranate next to a wooden bowl with oranges and grapes. There’s also two skulls with a dried flower and a tiny La Calavera Catrina statuette – the “grande dame of death.”

The bottom shelf has another skull next to a silver Holy Cross (to represent the holiday’s European Christian roots), a dried flower and another Virgen de Guadalupe candle. There’s also another Pan de Muerto, a dried flower, a skull, a bottle of wine, a fresh orange and a melted wax candle.

The altar cabinet measures approximately 5″ tall, 4″ wide and 1.3″ deep.
