I am beyond thrilled and honored to be featured in the October 2017 issue of American Miniaturist magazine! I can’t tell you how excited I am to see my work featured in its glossy pages!
Don’t miss my full interview and creations, as well as all the other beautiful creations in this issue!
I didn’t really intend to start working on another character so soon, but that’s what my creative muse wanted me to do! Meet Lady Esmeralda, the fortune teller! This sweet gypsy lady is my second (ever) polymer clay sculpted character, and I think she’s a lot of fun. She’s got everything from tarot cards to a palm reading chart to a crystal ball, so step on up and find out your future!
Although I primarily create miniature food, I’ve recently decided to challenge myself to go outside my comfort zone and work in different materials to create pieces that are a little different! Thus, the Curiosities collection was born. This collection will include all my unique, one-of-a-kind works that don’t fall under the categories of food or home decor. I’m having a lot of fun with these, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
In addition to the succulents I made, I also created some flowers, including lavender, chrysanthemums, tulips, daffodils and hydrangea. I also have some anemones and peonies in the works.
What other flowers would you like to see? I hope you like them!
