In honor of National Dog Day, I thought it was only fair to create a cute scene for my collection of miniature dogs! Sadly, it’s not as robust as my cat collection, but I’m working on it! My little dachshund is from Literature in Miniature, and my golden retrievers are by Ines Angelone. Unfortunately, I don’t know the artist for the dalmatian.

I jumped at the chance to make some iconic dog toys of my own to go with the fabulous Kong and red bone toys from A. Smith Arts! My favorite would have to be my needle felted Loofa dog toy because my dog Logan had one when he was a puppy! I also needle felted the tennis ball.

As someone who wears her “Crazy Cat Lady” title as a badge of honor (does four cats qualify you for that title?), I’ve also been collecting miniature cats and kittens over the past couple of years. When I saw that International Cat Day was coming up, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to showcase my beautiful felines by JMDS Miniatures (Juan Manuel Diaz Solis) AND make some fun little kitty accessories!
