This is Gertie and her vegetable garden! This is my biggest and most detailed Fuzzy project to date. I decided to try my hand at creating little scenes for my mice, and what better base for a “Gourmet Fuzzy” than a kitchen cutting board? Gertie has her own little gardening apron and a straw hat resting on her back.
Gertie’s little patch of veggies includes hand-sculpted polymer clay carrots, cauliflower and cabbage I made myself, along with some essential gardening tools, like a trowel, wheelbarrow and watering can (dollhouse miniatures I purchased). I also designed my own little seed packets. Plus, there’s a little bunny waiting to nibble on the veggies!
Gertie’s garden will be available on Etsy soon!
This is Nori! He’s a sushi chef, and he’s prepared a platter of yummy sushi! I handmade every piece from polymer clay. He’s now listed on Etsy!
Enzo is testing out my brand new mini kitchen! Isn’t it the cutest?! Stay tuned for more to come!
This is a slight departure from my usual needle felting projects, but with Halloween right around the corner, I figured it was apropos! Michael’s is having a #TrickYourPumpkin contest, so this pumpkin diorama with a witch’s kitchen inside is going to be my entry!
I took a craft pumpkin and carved a large opening in the front. I painted the inside a deep purple and distressed the outside of the pumpkin with black paint. It has a little raven’s nest perched on top, and the whole pumpkin is resting on top of a cake stand draped in black cheesecloth.
Inside the witch’s kitchen, there’s a little table and a hutch featuring polymer clay miniatures I made: potion bottles, a crystal ball, spell books, candles, face jars, a bat, a pumpkin and more!
I hope you enjoy this little Halloween scene!
